Welcome to Aldford School

Welcome to Aldford School, the Junior and Infant department of Abbey Gate College. Our small and friendly school is situated in the beautiful, rural village of Aldford, approximately 4 miles from Chester.

It is a five minute drive from the Senior School at Saighton allowing excellent links between the two sites. We have extensive grounds which feature football pitches, a netball court, wildlife garden and pond, log play area and adventure playground.

At Aldford School a broad and balanced curriculum is provided, developing the skills, concepts and knowledge necessary for future learning. Each child is viewed as an individual, and we aim to nurture and develop their skills and abilities, academically as well as in the fields of sport, music, drama, art, and technology.
