Selection boost for Otis

Otis Chamberlain,  who is in Year 11 at the College, has recently been selected for the Under 16 ISFA North football team as goal keeper after trials in Blackburn.

The ISFA team selects from all independent school in the North of England, so this is a tremendous achievement. The first game for Otis is at Bolton Wanderers training ground and is recognition for his progress and development over the last year; he has developed a prodigious kick which has resulted in him clearing the opposition bar three times and hitting the bar on one occasion! Otis has also been selected for the ISA North team (for smaller independent schools) and played at North Cestrian in a warm up game.

Otis is also attracting attention from football clubs in the area and he has signed a one year contract with Chester City academy to continue to develop his undoubted talent as a goalkeeper
