Hockey Masterclass in Barcelona

A taste of Spain.

“OMG……..is that where we are playing?!”  Egara’s facilities were truly superb and the girls were inspired to make the most of this exciting opportunity.  The Masterclass training session set the morning off to a great start.  The session which was videoed was delivered by one of the National Coaches and an International player.  After the hockey the girls had time to relax in the pool before their game……….well, that was the plan……..an hour and a half of aqua-aerobics later we finally persuaded the girls to change back into hockey mode.  The video analysis session which followed allowed everyone to refocus and think logically about the games ahead.  We then played two games and lost the first but won the second.  Both matches tested our skills and determination.  We ended our long day on a high and went to bed with happy memories.
