A Wriggly Nativity

DSC 8039

St John's Church in Aldford was the venue for the Infant Department's Nativity. Forty pupils performed 'A Wriggly Nativity' to a full church on the evening of Thursday 8th December.

With the pupils of Year 2 taking the lead roles, the children told the Christmas story through singing, acting and dancing. Despite the eldest children being only 7 years old, every word of the play could be heard throughout the church (with no microphone support!) and all the children joined in with the songs and actions.

The evening, which started with mulled wine and mince pies in the newly refurbished Aldford Village Hall, really got 'that Christmas feeling' started at Aldford School. Roll on the pantomime and Christmas dinner!DSC 8121
