Year 10 visit Tags

Year 10 pupils and staff visited Liverpool specialist printers Tags ltd on January (Friday!) 13th.

We saw demonstrations of graphic design manipulation and transfer to various print techniques, along with complex secondary manufacturing processes including a machine which could thread string and tie it in a knot mechanically (we really don’t know how it did it!)  The students were able to gain valuable first hand experience of the examined content of the GCSE Product Design course seeing real life versions of classroom based topics.  As always, the pupils were a credit to the College and the trip was enjoyed by all.
