Isobella leaves the rest in her wake.

Congratulations to Year 7 pupil Isobella Burton who was named the top girl swimmer at the Shrewsbury Swimming Meet in December and achieved 6 qualifying times for the Cheshire Championships in March.

  She won gold medals in the 200m Individual Medley and 200m Backstroke; 2 silver medals in the 200m freestyle and 50m backstroke and a bronze medal in the 200m breaststroke.  Isobella currently trains for around 9½ hours per week and swims for Winsford Swimming Club is 2 separate leagues.  If Isobella repeats her excellent performances in March then she will have every chance of qualifying for ‘The Nationals’ in June later this year and we wish her every success.
