Football - v Tower College - Won 4-2

Under a blistering September sun Abbey Gate College claimed a convincing victory.  Despite being held at 2-2 for much of the second half a second spell on the pitch from Patrick Henderson saw him claim two late goals to give the team the score line their performance deserved. 

This was a great team performance and the effort and determination right across the park saw the U14 team atone for the previous week’s loss to Blacon in the Chester & District Cup. 

Man of the Match was Matt Povey who made several fantastic saves in the second half, in addition to some excellent play in the centre of midfield during his outfield spell.
