Football - Under 15's v King's - Won 2 - 1

The Under 15 team prepared for their important National trophy game next week by making a number of changes and offering opportunities for other players to stake a claim.

The blustery and squally conditions unfortunately had a major bearing on the game restricting constructive football.

Both teams passed the ball well but the College had the more incisive forwards and from a powerful Fergus Cowper run and pass, Tom Donald swiveled and from 20 yards curled the ball over the keeper. Fifteen minutes later Tom linked with Jorge Percival to slot home his second goal. King’s also had chances and only some fine goalkeeping from Harry Davies kept them at bay until just on half time when a shot into the roof of the net reduced the arrears. Half time 1-2.

The second half saw the College struggle for any fluidity and had to rely on the defence to protect the lead. A fantastic goal line clearance from Ryen Spencer- Wolfe preserved the advantage as the college held out for a well earned victory.

Mr Cutler
