Under 15's Tennis Tournament - Runners Up

Fiona Parker, Kate Merrick (Year 8 ) Samindi Thenuwara and Kate Fearnall (Year 9) entered the Year 10 Chester and District Tennis tournament at The Kings School.

Both pairs got off to the best start by winning their first match. Kate Merrick and Fiona Parker continued their winning streak for the rest of their matches beating Queens ‘A’, Kings ‘A’ and Heber finishing top of their group. Samindi and Kate had good rallies with their opponents but missed out on the final stages of their games. They won one game but lost three. However it must be noted that all girls were playing in an above age group. The girls did extremely well and managed to come runners up in the Tournament.
