Private Lottery Rules
1. This Closed Lottery will be limited to Parents, Staff, Trustees and Old
Saightonians of Abbey Gate College.
2. Each “share” will consist of a subscription of £5.00
per month, payable by Standing Order (monthly or quarterly) or an annual
payment
of £55.00 in advance.
3. In order to maintain good odds on each “share” winning a monthly
prize, the number of “shares” issued will be limited to 800.
4. For those wishing to increase their contribution to the Appeal, each family
may purchase up to two “shares”.
5. The Draw will take place each month and 40% of the previous month’s
net income will be won by shareholders. There will be
three prizes.
Example: Issuing just 250 “shares” would generate a prize fund every month
of almost £500 which would be won as follows:
1st Prize – 50% of Prize Fund - £250
2nd Prize – 30% of Prize Fund - £150
3rd Prize – 20% of Prize Fund - £100
Although the prizes will remain at these percentages, the actual amounts will
depend on the number of active “shares” in any one
month.
