The College has an active Parents Social Committee, with two main objectives.
Firstly, to encourage parents to become part of the College community by organising social events and providing support at events and functions. The highlight of the social calendar is the annual Summer Ball and the Social Committee assists the College with its annual Charity Garden Fete.
Secondly, it is the Committee’s aim to raise funds for use by the College for specific projects for the benefit of pupils. In the last year assistance has been given with the purchase of equipment for the new Design & Technology Department, equipment for Outdoor Pursuits and also camcorders for the PE Department.
Any parent is welcome to join the Committee; meetings are usually monthly, on a Tuesday evening, during term time. For further information regarding the Committee, contact the Chairman or Secretary.
If there are any parents who may not wish to join the Committee, but feel that they have particular skills or contacts that may be of benefit to the Committee, again please contact the Chairman or Secretary.
The present officers of the Parents Social Committee are:-
Chairman - Mike Eastwood - 0151 327 6866
Secretary - Sophie Le Brocq - 01829 270772

The Summer Ball, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the College, was a great success, being attended by almost 200 parents, guests and members of staff. The Sports Hall was transformed for the evening by the installation of a marquee lining, and over £3,600 was raised towards the College. The planning of the 2009 Ball, to be held on Saturday 4th July, is already in hand.

Cheers Everyone!
The Parents Social Committee were delighted to assist the College in the planning and running of the revitilised Garden Fete in May. Blessed with good weather, the event was extremely well attended and over £3,000 was raised on the day for the charity ’Little Hearts Matter’.
