Abbey Gate College Pupils Excel at ISA North Athletics Competition

This week, a group of students from Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 competed in the ISA North Athletics competition, again in Manchester, with some fantastic results.
Amelie (J6) won her heat and qualified for the final in the 80m sprint, finishing in 5th place.
Our J3 and J4 boys relay teams both made it through their heats to compete in the final, also finishing in 5th place.
Tristan (J5) won his heat and his final, meaning he will go forward to the National Championships in the 75m sprint.
Amber (J5) also qualifies for the National Championships, after running the second fastest time in the 600m.
Well done all, we are very proud of all of you!
