We are absolutely delighted that a genuine stalwart of Abbey Gate College Rugby has received the recognition he has deserved for so long.

Ned Rayner (Year 12) pulled on the famous colours of Cheshire Rugby and helped his county to victory over close rivals, North Midlands.

After beginning his Rugby journey at Chester RUFC aged just 5, it really does show that hard work pays off.

Well done Ned, we’re super proud!
