Our J5 class have thoroughly enjoyed learning about William Shakespeare and the Tudors during their Project, ‘The Globe’, this half term. They have researched the life of William Shakespeare and the Tudor monarchs, sketched Tudor houses and the Globe Theatre, recreated portraits of William Shakespeare and produced wonderful Tudor Roses using the process of lino printing.

As part of their Home Challenges work, Thaddy constructed a fantastic replica of the Globe Theatre.

This is another shining example of how the rich and cohesive approach to the curriculum at our Infant and Junior School encourages the children’s learning, linking all foundation subjects, immersing our pupils in their area of Project.
