Raising money for good causes is a very important aspect of life at Abbey Gate College and even more so in the Sixth Form. The Charity & Community Committee aims to promote awareness of the House Charity, fundraise for other charities and undertake new initiatives that will impact the local community and raise awareness of global issues.

All Sixth Form students are invited to join the committee and add their ideas and enthusiasm in organising major events such as Children in Need and Comic Relief. Recently, Sixth Form students have also fundraised for Macmillan Cancer Research, the NSPCC and the British Heart Foundation.
