The Wider Community
Students will be encouraged to take part in Community Support work during their time in the Sixth Form. In the past, students have supported lessons, clubs and sports practices and worked at the Infant & Junior School. Many students already do voluntary work which is one of the components in the AQA Baccalaureate qualification. Entry onto some university courses hinges on relevant work or voluntary experience, and voluntary work will also augment a student’s UCAS application.
