Abbey Gate College pulled off their performance of the season, comprehensively defeating Ellesmere College 4-0.

Despite only having 10 men at kick off, Abbey Gate started the game with great intensity and were first to every ball.

The first half pressure eventually told with Harry F finishing neatly from a Harry M through ball.

The pressure continued to build and a great run and cross from Alex B, allowed Harry F to tap in his second. Abbey Gate went into half time leading 2-0.

Abbey Gate picked up where they left off after half time controlling the game with some nice passing playing.

Special mention to Kieran K for his superb man of the match display in central midfield.

Abbey Gate’s dominance grew and a nice through ball from Ben C allowed Alex Buchanan to grab himself a goal. Alex followed this up with a second a few minutes later to put the game to bed.

A fantastic performance right across the team, with quality football being played throughout.

Any one of the team could have been man of the match today, well done everyone.
