Earlier this term, a number of our drama students took on the challenge of entering the prestigious National Youth Monologue Competition, joining hundreds and hundreds of young performers from across the country.
We are absolutely delighted to share the news that Amira (KS3) has been selected as one of only ten national finalists in her category – Key Stage 3 Contemporary Monologue. This is an outstanding achievement, and a real testament to her talent, dedication and stage presence.
Amira will now take to the stage of The Ambassadors Theatre in London’s West End on Sunday 13 July to perform her monologue live in the national final – a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any young performer.
Naturally, Amira is incredibly excited, and we are all enormously proud of her success. We wish her the very best as she prepares to step into the spotlight!
