Chester and District Year 7 Hockey Tournament

Earlier this week our players headed to The Kings School for the Chester & District Y7 Hockey Tournament.
An incredibly close first match of the tournament for AGC against Bishop’s Heber saw the final score result a 1-all draw, with excellent team work on display.
In the their second match against Kings, the AGC team also saw a tied result 1-all, with some excellent saves from our Goalie – Ruby in her debut match as Keeper and some brilliant attempts on goal from our forwards (and mids!).
In the third and final match, Abbey Gate College finished the match in another draw, with both teams scoring a spectacular goal each and excellent levels of effort from the AGC girls to the end.
RESULTS:
First Place: Kings
Second Place: Bishops Heber
Third Place: Abbey Gate College
Our players once again performed brilliantly. A huge and thank you to older pupil Keira for her great umpiring and Tarporley High School for organising the tournament!
