College Football Teams Show Enthusiasm and Determination

Our Years 7/8 and Years 9/10 teams played away at Altrincham Grammar last weekend with a great morning of school football, epitomised by enthusiastic and determined pupils, and with common sense officiating allowing the game to flow and be competitive.
The Years 7/8 team lost 4-3 after coming back from 2-0 down with goals from Tom G and Harrison H. Despite Altrincham Grammar taking the lead again a Sam S penalty looked to have sealed a well-earned draw before a last-minute winner from the home team.
The Years 9/10 team also came back from 2-0 down at half time to display great resilience with two Ben C long range efforts followed by two fantastic forwards finishes from Alex B. Despite a last minute penalty a well-deserved 4-3 victory was well deserved for all their endeavours.
