Our Year 7 and 8 students have just returned from an unforgettable cultural adventure in Paris – and what a trip it was!

Over the course of three action-packed days, our pupils explored the sights, sounds and tastes of the French capital, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Day One: Parisian Charm and Artistic Inspiration
The group arrived in style and wasted no time immersing themselves in the Parisian way of life. A boat cruise along the River Seine offered spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower, before students climbed the steps to the stunning Sacré-Cœur – a feat that definitely rivalled any PE lesson!

In the heart of Montmartre, students soaked up the artistic buzz, tried out their French in local cafés, and picked up souvenirs to remember the day. A traditional three-course French dinner rounded off a brilliant first day.

Day Two: Disney Magic
Saturday saw the group embrace the magic of Disneyland Paris – a definite highlight! From thrilling rides and Mickey Mouse moments to the spectacle of the afternoon parade, it was a day filled with joy, excitement, and a little sprinkle of fairy dust. The evening ended in true Parisian style with a glittering view of the Eiffel Tower lit up at night – simply magical.

Day Three: A Sporting Finish
Before heading home, pupils enjoyed a tour of the world-famous Stade de France, soaking in the atmosphere of past sporting triumphs and imagining their own future victories. Visits to Notre Dame and the Louvre followed, along with a final riverside walk in the spring sunshine.

Our students were brilliant ambassadors for the College throughout the trip – full of curiosity, enthusiasm, and energy. And judging by the smiles (and the number of photos!), it’s safe to say that both staff and students fell a little bit in love with Paris.
