Abbey Gate College’s Year 7 & 8 and Year 9 teams travelled to Birkenhead School on Saturday 9^th October for the annual fixture.

The Year 7 & 8 team settled into the game during the 2nd quarter, taking the lead from Birkenhead, which they successfully maintained until the final whistle blew.

The Year 9 match saw a brilliant come back from AGC during the 3rd and 4th quarter, after being down by 12 goals they closed the gap to just 4 goals by the final whistle.

Year 7 and 8 – Won 18-13

Year 9 – Lost 21-17

Well done to all of the girls who took part, a fantastic performance by all.
