Year 6 Pupils Launch ‘Eco Club’ Across Infant and Junior School

Our J6 pupils were thrilled this week as they launched the Eco Club with our Infant and Junior pupils, in keeping with one of the three College agencies, Sustainability.
Our keen ‘Eco Warriors’ have been working together to design a fun range of environmentally aware activities to help our younger pupils learn more about sustainability and the environment we share. It is wonderful to see our older children working together, all the way to our youngest, supporting each other in their common interest!
Activities so far have included a bug survey (luckily at Aldford they are in abundance!) and tree rubbing from all the different tree varieties our grounds offer.
Next week we are looking forward to bird watching and habitat building for our animal neighbours.
We can’t wait to see how the J6 pupils develop and lead this exciting initiative for all our pupils.
