Earlier this week teams of pupils from Year 7, 8 and 9 travelled to Scarisbrick Hall to compete in the ISA North Cross Country Championships in a field of 14 schools.

A huge well done to the runners who competed over the tough course.

Congratulations to Anna (4th), Harry (6th), Felix (7th) and Izzy (8th) who have each qualified for the National competition in their age groups.

From these results, Abbey Gate College placed 2nd in the Girls’ Year 7 race, 3rd in the Year 8/9 Boys’ event and 4th in the Year 8/9 Girls’ race.
