“Yesterday afternoon saw a rousing game of cup football where our College squad used pace upfront and solid defending to come out worthy winners.

After losing heavily to Blacon 2 years ago, the omens were not good but despite an early Blacon goal Charlie Co showed great pace and perseverance to roll in a deserved equaliser. The belief increased as Charlie Ca volleyed in a superb goal for a 2-1 half time lead.  

Balcon responded with an early goal in the second half but the pace of Charlie Ca saw him sprint clear to stretch the lead again.

Harry S then hit a superb long range free kick into the top corner and Charlie Co completed his hat trick for a well deserved win.”
