Full House for Drama School Success at Abbey Gate College
Published on 26th May 2026
There is cause for celebration in the Performing Arts Department this week as Thomas E received confirmation of his place at Mountview on their prestigious Musical Theatre course.
His success means Abbey Gate College continues an extraordinary record of achievement in drama school auditions, maintaining a 100% success rate over the past four years, with every student auditioning securing offers from leading specialist institutions.
Alongside Thomas, James B and Marcus E have also enjoyed exceptional success throughout this year’s audition season, collectively receiving offers from an impressive range of renowned drama schools, including LAMDA, East 15 Acting School, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Oxford School of Drama and Leeds Conservatoire.
Drama school auditions are famously demanding, requiring months of preparation, resilience, creativity and confidence under pressure. To see students consistently achieving offers – and from institutions of this calibre – is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to both the students’ talent and the dedication of Abbey Gate College’s Performing Arts staff.
The Performing Arts Department has long championed ambition, individuality and artistic excellence, encouraging students to develop not only their performance skills, but also the confidence and character needed to thrive in the creative industries.
This latest wave of success marks another proud chapter for Abbey Gate College’s thriving drama and musical theatre community – and we cannot wait to see where the stage lights lead them next.
