Year 7 Boys’ First Taste of Competitive Contact Rugby

A selection of Year 7 boys had their first chance to represent the College in Rugby last week.
In a very even fixture the boys battled courageously against Tarporley High School.
In a reversal of the previous week’s result, this time it was Tarporley who were able to hold off a late Abbey Gate onslaught to emerge victorious.
The boys improved tremendously throughout the course of the game and it was great to see so many of them enjoying their first taste of competitive contact rugby.
What a great start for the Year 7 Squad!
