Abbey Gate College initiated and leads the annual Sustainability Conference for Chester schools, bringing young people and committed adults and experts together, to learn about and to discuss practical initiatives of ecological and environmental importance.
We are an Eco-School, with distinction, and our stunning, rural settings in both Saighton and Aldford bring our pupils daily benefit from being surrounded by natural greenery and countryside beauty. Our pupils also learn, first-hand, about planting, nurturing, and harvesting.
With our intention to shape the future positively, we have very clear digital behaviours and habits; which ensure that a healthy and appropriate balance is maintained between digital and non-digital. Pioneering and creativity in computing and programming are, however, thriving; including competitive success at national level.
