University & Careers Pathways

Careers Education is embedded throughout the Senior School and follows the Gatsby benchmarks, to ensure provision meets the highest national standards.

Our Careers curriculum, underpinned by Unifrog,  is enhanced by regular trips and visits for each year group, including alumni, whether this may be in masterclasses in the Performing and Creative Arts and Sport, Enterprise days, author visits, Career workshops, team building and leadership skills or many more.

Our students benefit from 1:1 impartial careers guidance from Year 9 upwards to help each individual fulfil their own potential and hone their communication skills through Mock Interviews.

Work Experience in Year 10 and Year 12 affords the unique opportunity to head into the workplace and our annual Careers Fair further enables valuable interactions and connections with a wide range of professionals.

Our careers curriculum,  builds confidence and skills for our pupils to make their own informed choices, and we are proud that our year 13 students move onto a range of post 18 opportunities including university, degree apprenticeships, apprenticeships, drama schools and employment each year.

Careers education is well embedded through a comprehensive curriculum from Year 7, culminating in effective preparation for diverse destinations, including degrees, apprenticeships and entrepreneurial ventures. Pupils receive impartial accurate guidance and develop strong social and economic competencies through community involvement and active alumni engagement. As a result pupils demonstrate high aspirations and enthusiasm for their future education and career paths. [ISI November 2025]
