There are numerous ways for students to get involved in music, whether their passion is singing, musical instruments or dance.
All instrumentalists are encouraged to join The Concert Band, which rehearses once a week with around three concerts per year.
Saighton Syncopators is a small dance band of more advanced woodwind players, specialising in music from the 1920’s – 1950’s. The band is in great demand playing for a variety of social occasions
The Saightonians is a small barbershop group which rehearses weekly.
Students are also encouraged to form their own ensembles and bands based on their skills and passion for all aspects and genres of music. We also have a choir for our alumni, the Old Saightonian Choir.
Individual Instrumental Tuition
Please use the link below to arrange individual tuition with peripatetic instrumental teachers. The tuition is carried out throughout the school day on a weekly rota system.
